The challenge
The user and the administrator get different platforms. On the user’s account, there are tasks along with tips and instructions. The system evaluates work time and the amount of compensation. The administrator can prepare tasks, make them available for users, outlines them and can add audio and text files to the project. The user handles project files, controls their quality and eventually exports them. The data is available under ASR.
I appreciated how the potential of the system was broadened. With the implementation and the optimization of the whole system, our changes have resulted in work being efficient to a larger extent. This project was very demanding, we were using one of the newest languages - Golang.
The result
EMBIQ’s developers were challenged with writing a completely new frontend, with the consideration of users. Moreover, the new export format was designed. What is important, the project connected with automatic speech recognition, the system automatically makes annotations. As a result, we created a work management platform with a dedicated payment system.
To make sure everything works properly, we have prepared automatic tests with WebdriverIO, UAT test, API test and performance tests in jMeter.
