The challenge
The aim was to create an engaging and user-friendly mobile app that allows users to record and share short videos based on prompts displayed on the screen. The platform needed to foster a sense of community, with features that enable users to discover other users' content and add them to a watchlist. In this project, our team was tasked with developing the mobile app's user interface and functionality, ensuring its ease of use and the ability to create, share, and discover content. Ensuring privacy was also a key aspect of this project, with features implemented to enable users to make their videos private if they wished.
As the lead mobile developer on the project, I was responsible for ensuring the app was intuitive and user-friendly, while also implementing the core functionality of recording and sharing videos

The result
Playfolly has successfully become a platform where users can share moments of their lives through short videos, discover new content, and connect with others. The app is free and easy to use, and it has gained positive feedback from users for its fun and engaging concept.
Seeing the app come to life and become a space for people to express themselves and connect with others has been very rewarding. It was a challenging project, but the end result is something we're all proud of.
