Mobile App for controlling the environment
The Blueanker mobile app provides security for what matters most to you. With a few clicks, you can control your surroundings and protect yourself from theft. However, if you lose a secured item, your friends, family and other Blueanker users can help you recover it.

The challenge
Blueanker is an innovative security system based on iBeacons technology. It offers constant control over valuable objects and can alert other network participants when help is needed. It is fairly easy to use. All you need to do is to install an app on your smartphone and place a small beacon in something you want to protect (such as a computer, car, bike or pupils’ collar). In case of a robbery you will be immediately alarmed by your phone. The app also allows to call for help and send information on the stolen or lost objects to other app users, making search easier.
It was quite a new solution. Thanks to BLE it was a possibility to build whole users web that could help if the f.e. bike was stolen. We developed the project a few years ago but nowadays solutions based on BLE are more and more popular. Together we built an easy-to-use, intuitive, unique and comprehensive security system.

The result
Blueanker beacons provide monitoring of valuable items and security. The app allows you to easily manage them, create Bluepoint secure zones and help other users. Features: - interaction with Blueanker devices through a single app; - simple and user-friendly interface; - creating a virtual community; - monitoring the movement and location of Blueanker beacons; - controlling exit from Blueanker secure zone; - locating stolen items by other app users; - marking the last spotted position on the map; - alerting the user in real time to attempted thefts or found items; - creating safe zones using mobile devices without purchasing additional hardware.
Thanks to beacons, Blueanker allows you to keep control of your valuables and sends an alarm signal to smartphones with the appropriate app. Blueanker uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to work with beacons, which are small transmitters. These devices communicate with smartphones equipped with appropriate applications and can, for example, inform us when we are out of range of the transmitter. In other words, beacons can alert us when someone steals our bike or equipment and wants to move away with it.
