The challenge
The application consists of many modules, allows users to display event notifications relevant to their locations, informs and reminds them of appointments, and allows them to stay in touch with loved ones. Building an application with multiple modules, location-based event notifications, appointment reminders, and seamless communication has several challenges: - Integrating and synchronizing various modules seamlessly while ensuring data accuracy and reliability can be complex. - Implementing robust location-based functionality requires handling geolocation services, data processing, and timely notifications. - Managing and delivering real-time notifications to users based on their preferences and location can be a technical hurdle. - Maintaining a consistent and reliable communication system, incorporating messaging and updates, and ensuring data privacy and security can be demanding.
Using the joyn app, we also receive notifications about activities created by others - when they match our interests and we can join them. Notifications are customized according to the user's location.

The result
Joyn is a social application released for Android mobile devices. Using joyn, we can get in touch with our friends and with new people. Users can send messages, write posts, and create teams, i.e., groups of people with, for example, common hobbies. Above all, however, the joyn app makes organizing events easy and making appointments with other people. Users can conveniently create three types of activities: ● public - which can be joined by anyone, ● private - available only to friends, ● secret - intended only for people selected by the organizer.
