EMBIQ embarked on a pioneering project to revolutionize the furniture shopping experience for a leading furniture manufacturer. The project involved the development of a demonstration application that utilized the then-novel iBeacon technology to identify individual pieces of furniture on display. This innovative solution allowed users to not only view the chosen furniture in various arrangements and in 3D but also access detailed information about the furniture's dimensions, its designer, and the history of its creation

The challenge
The application developed by EMBIQ provided a unique interactive experience for users. By identifying individual pieces of furniture using iBeacon technology, users could access a wealth of information about each piece, including its dimensions, designer, and history. The application also featured a room arrangement creator, allowing users to visualize how the furniture would look in different settings.
The integration of iBeacon technology was a significant challenge, but it was also an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of this new technology. Seeing our application bring a new level of interactivity to the furniture shopping experience was incredibly rewarding.

The result
The most significant challenge faced during this project was the integration of the iBeacon technology. As one of the first applications worldwide to utilize this technology, the team had to navigate uncharted territory, especially considering the application was released shortly after the announcement of iBeacon technology at WWDC. The Sits Furniture Show Room Application project was a testament to EMBIQ's ability to leverage cutting-edge technology to create innovative solutions. Despite the challenges faced, the team successfully delivered an application that revolutionized the furniture shopping experience, setting a new standard for interactive retail experiences.
Working on this project was a unique experience. Seeing how technology could transform something as traditional as furniture shopping into an interactive, engaging experience was fascinating.
