The challenge

Orange Polska was seeking an effective solution that would allow user interaction through NFC tags placed at strategic locations. The system was expected to manage the content available to users and monitor usage statistics. However, the challenge was not only to provide a means of opening web pages through NFC tags, but to build a logic, connections, and conditions around these tags, creating a truly innovative experience.

Working on this project, we focused on creating a modular architecture that would allow for easy development and deployment of applications in the future.

Backend Developer

The result

EMBIQ developed a comprehensive system based on Django/Python technology, which enabled interaction with NFC tags through native mobile applications. The system allowed for mapping tags to locations on the backend and changing their positions, adding new ones, or removing existing ones. Thanks to our solution, Orange Polska was able to offer its users interactive experiences, such as accessing various content, like web pages, Facebook profiles, YouTube videos, maps, and contests, by scanning NFC tags using the application. But more than that, the logic and conditions built around these tags provided a unique and innovative user experience.

I'm proud of what we achieved in this project. It's not just a technical achievement but also a testament to how technology can be used to create valuable experiences for users.
