The challenge
BSH Home Appliances Group, a global leader in home appliances, envisioned a Smart Kitchen Dock that would seamlessly integrate with both iOS and Android devices. The primary challenge was to validate the feasibility of the "autodocking" functionality using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. The goal was to ensure that the chosen technology could support the envisioned use cases.
Working with BSH was a rewarding experience. Their clear vision combined with our technical expertise resulted in a successful proof of concept. We're proud to have been part of this innovative project.
The result
The collaboration with EMBIQ allowed BSH to confirm with high confidence that their envisioned use cases were feasible with the selected technology. The agile development approach, combined with the use of Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation, ensured a smooth project flow. For the proof of concept, EMBIQ utilized a Raspberry Pi to develop software that was compatible with both iOS and Android devices. This approach allowed for a flexible and iterative development process, ensuring that the final product met BSH's requirements.
The challenge of integrating BLE technology with the Smart Kitchen Dock was exciting. Collaborating closely with BSH, we found optimal solutions and delivered a product that met their expectations.
