Second-Screen Solution for World Cup Broadcasts
Developed for Voodoodance, the multiplatform (Android, iOS, JavaME) second-screen application was designed to provide real-time interaction with World Cup broadcasts. This ambitious project was the result of the combined efforts of EMBIQ's dedicated team.

The challenge
The project was initiated with the objective of creating a novel, engaging way for viewers to interact with live broadcasts of the World Cup. The solution had to be robust and scalable enough to handle the large audience of a global event like the World Cup.
Our team was tasked with designing and implementing a cross-platform solution that not only delivered real-time interaction with live broadcasts, but also provided detailed analytics and user behavior tracking. Given the event's scale, ensuring the system could serve tens of millions of viewers simultaneously was a challenge.

The result
Through the tireless efforts of EMBIQ's team, the second-screen solution was successfully launched for the World Cup broadcasts. Despite the pressure of millions of simultaneous viewers, the system proved to be resilient, reliable, and most importantly, engaging for the users. Despite the end of Voodoodance's operations, the successful implementation of this project stands as a testament to EMBIQ's capability in delivering robust, scalable, and engaging second-screen solutions.
Working closely with the Voodoodance team, we were able to create an application that not only met but exceeded the initial requirements. It was a great pleasure to see our work being used by so many people, enhancing their experience of such a major global event.
