„Strategiczny Płock” is a website that we had the pleasure to develop at the commission of Płock city’s Municipal Office. The website is addressed especially to the city’s residents, but also to other public institutions, companies and everyone who’s simply interested in Płock.

The challenge

Creating a website aimed at the residents of Płock, the public sector, businesses and people interested in the city's life. A portal is a tool for public communication on key issues of Płock. The portal also includes a section dedicated to statistics, which presents current information, indicators and interactive maps on various aspects of life in the city - so-called infographics.

Our main tasks in this project were communicating with the API, creating the entire site with its full functionality and updating old pages, consulting interfaces within the team.

The result

The website serves as a public communication tool for addressing issues that are vital for the city. Users can find not only contemporary news and an event calendar there, but also statistical data - displayed in an approachable graphic form (as charts and layers of a map). The website also includes a tool for generating polls, a discussion forum and a newsletter module. The content can be administered with CMS panel. As an additional part of the project, we developed also a website about Cifal Global Network (http://cifal.pl), which - as a matter of fact - established its first European center in Płock.

The portal is a tool of social communication, in matters of key importance for the city. The portal also contains a section devoted to statistics, which presents current information, indicators and interactive maps.
