The challenge
The primary challenge was to create a software that could collect raw timestamped EEG data from the EEG headset and store it on a server. The data had to be collected in a specific file format (.edf) that retains all information about the EEG spectra and the timeline. Additionally, the raw EEG data had to be decomposed into separate brainwave data files (alpha, beta, beta2, theta, gamma).
Working on this project was a unique experience. The challenge of interfacing the EEG headset with the Android application and ensuring the accurate collection and storage of data was a rewarding task. Seeing the final product in action and knowing that it would contribute to advancements in healthcare technology was incredibly satisfying.

The result
Our team of experts developed an Android application that could effectively interface with the EEG headset. The application was designed to collect timestamped raw EEG data and store it on a server using the client's APK. The data was collected in the .edf file format, ensuring that all information about the EEG spectra and the timeline was retained. The application also had the capability to decompose raw EEG data into separate brainwave data files. This data was then uploaded to the server, timestamped from each specific timeline/session.
Managing this project was a great learning experience. The team worked tirelessly to overcome the challenges and deliver a product that met all the client's requirements. I am proud of what we achieved and look forward to working on more projects like this in the future.
